MTP records a turnover of €22.5m in 2011

  • More than 7% growth in comparison with last year’s figures.

Madrid, 1 February 2012 – Turnover at MTP, a consultancy firm specialised in software engineering and quality, increased by 7.2 per cent in 2011, reaching €22.5m, allowing the company to maintain its leadership position in the Spanish software quality market.

Juan Manuel Ferrer, Managing Director of MTP, stated, "2011 has been a difficult year in which economic instability has become another factor that must be overcome when trying to win new business. We have a portfolio of leading clients in their respective business sectors that are aware that slowing down decision-making can mean falling into a trap with fatal consequences for the future of the business."

With the opening of offices in London, São Paulo and Mexico City, 2011 has been a year of international growth at MTP. Through this, the company manages to offer a global service to clients, with the same level of quality in the development of its Software Quality-related processes.

Furthermore, last year, MTP developed Omniatest a proprietary methodology that covers the full process for software quality testing activities, including all testing levels in the software life cycle, from reviewing the requirements to post-production tests. Omniatest is based on the parameters defined by the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) and has already successfully passed the evaluation process for TMMi 4 certification.

This year, MTP will continue to show its commitment to maintaining the highest levels of specialisation and independence, and also continue to strengthen its international position, both in Latin America and Europe.
