MTP implements a Test Factory for SAP environments at its Barcelona facility

  • The company will present a quality model for SAP projects at the forthcoming edition of ExpoQA'12, to be held in Madrid on 4 June.

Madrid, 29 May 2012 - MTP, a consultancy specialised in software engineering and quality services, announces the establishing of a software testing and quality control laboratory specialising in SAP environments at its facility in Barcelona.

The Test Factory work will be based on the specialist software testing and quality control service for SAP environments recently designed by MTP, which is based on a three-pillar model: methodological strength in terms of testing, excellent knowledge of the SAP environment and support in terms of specific tools integrated into the environment that improve the efficiency of the service.

Juan Manuel Ferrer, Managing Director of MTP said that "SAP has become an internationally recognised standard. For this reason, efficient, effective and high quality integration of SAP systems has become a service that is currently under increasing demand. It is not longer enough for the integrator in charge of customisation and tailor-made developments to also guarantee quality. Now is the time that companies are starting to request quality assurance and independent testing teams".

The Test Factory for SAP environments being launched by MTP is the first step in reinforcing the role of its Barcelona office within the organisation. The company’s aim is to make the Barcelona laboratory a leading research centre in Software Quality. In this respect, the company also has the intention of beginning work there on other concepts such as Cloud Testing or Agile Testing.
