PenTesting

Penetration Testing refers to intrusion prevention or vulnerability analysis. It is a term used in ITC system security testing.

Vulnerability, in IT security systems, refers to a weakness in a system that allows a hacker to breach the confidentiality, integrity, availability, access control and consistency of the system or its data and applications.

PenTesting is a tool allowing the registration and integration of the results of intrusion tests performed with various open source tools (such as Paros, Nmap or Xcan); as well as the processing of this information for the drafting of subsequent Security Testing Reports:

  • Report with the outcomes of all the cases executed for an application (by tool used).
  • Report with the outcomes obtained in a selection of cases executed for an application.
  • Report with all the vulnerabilities of all the applications sorted by test case.
  • High Level Vulnerability Report.

Tool developed by MTP within its programme of R&D projects: Subsidy awarded by the IMADE. Co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER).
